Com quatro v\u00e1lvulas por cilindro, o do Polo tem maior pot\u00eancia (mais 3 cv com gasolina ou 7 cv com \u00e1lcool), embora com menos torque. Contudo, mesmo com peso superior, o do Argo trouxe melhor desempenho na pista: de 0 a 100 km\/h em 1,6 segundo a menos (<em>veja tabela nesta p\u00e1gina<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>No uso pr\u00e1tico os dois s\u00e3o modestos, mas o baixo n\u00edvel de ru\u00eddo permite explorar melhor o Volkswagen sem inc\u00f4modo. No Fiat o som em baixa rota\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 desagrad\u00e1vel e o escasso isolamento deixa passar muito ru\u00eddo ao interior. As oscila\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00edpicas dos tr\u00eas-cilindros s\u00e3o notadas abaixo de 2.000 rpm e em altos giros, mas n\u00e3o na faixa m\u00e9dia, mais usada no dia a dia.
