Assim como h\u00e1 20 anos abriu o segmento de vers\u00f5es &#8220;aventureiras&#8221; com a <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/tag\/palio-adventure\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Palio Adventure<\/a>, ao detectar o interesse por um carro apto ao fora de estrada leve, a Fiat percebeu a demanda para uma picape maior que as compactas, mas ainda pr\u00f3xima em comportamento e conforto a um autom\u00f3vel. Embora a Renault tenha sa\u00eddo na frente com a <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/tag\/oroch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Duster Oroch<\/a>, a Toro associou essa f\u00f3rmula a maiores dimens\u00f5es, as op\u00e7\u00f5es de tra\u00e7\u00e3o integral e motor turbodiesel e \u2014 por \u00faltimo, mas n\u00e3o menos importante \u2014 um belo desenho.<\/p>\n<p>Na linha 2020, a linha Toro apresenta novas vers\u00f5es para tentar atingir um maior p\u00fablico e aumentar as vendas. A op\u00e7\u00e3o de entrada Endurance passa a oferecer transmiss\u00e3o manual, com o motor flex\u00edvel de 1,75 litro, e a ser combinada ao turbodiesel de 2,0 litros com tra\u00e7\u00e3o integral e caixa autom\u00e1tica de nove marchas. O acabamento Freedom pode receber o pacote visual S-Design. Na Endurance, por sua aptid\u00e3o para o trabalho, foram aplicadas estrutura de ca\u00e7amba (\u201csantant\u00f4nio\u201d) e barras de prote\u00e7\u00e3o no vidro traseiro, al\u00e9m de alarme com controle remoto. O pacote S-Design da vers\u00e3o Freedom custa R$ 5 mil e traz faixas adesivas no cap\u00f4 e na tampa da ca\u00e7amba, logotipos escurecidos, \u201csantant\u00f4nio\u201d e estribos laterais em preto e pintura cinza nos retrovisores, na grade, nas barras de teto e nas rodas. E haver\u00e1 mais uma at\u00e9 o fim do ano: a Ultra, com tra\u00e7\u00e3o integral e motor turbodiesel, que trar\u00e1 a novidade da cobertura r\u00edgida de ca\u00e7amba integrada a um \u201csantant\u00f4nio\u201d esportivo. A ideia \u00e9 criar um meio-termo entre picape e sed\u00e3, com compartimento protegido (destrava-se junto das portas) e vedado contra infiltra\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua. O acesso da carga continua a ser feito pelas duas portas abertas para o lado, mas a tampa pode ser erguida e sustentada por duas molas a g\u00e1s. No caso de transporte de objetos maiores que a ca\u00e7amba fechada, a tampa pode ser retirada.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Na Endurance manual o motor desenvolve bem seu papel, mas a resposta tende a ser demorada em baixa rota\u00e7\u00e3o, revelando a dificuldade de lidar com todo o peso<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Ao volante da Toro 2020<\/h2>\n<p>\u00c0 parte a nova combina\u00e7\u00e3o de motor e transmiss\u00e3o, nada mudou na mec\u00e2nica da Toro. O motor flex\u00edvel de 1,75 litro das vers\u00f5es Endurance e Freedom produz pot\u00eancia de 135 cv e torque de 18,8 m.kgf com gasolina, passando a 139 cv e 19,3 m.kgf com \u00e1lcool, e sua caixa autom\u00e1tica tem seis marchas. O flex\u00edvel de 2,4 litros, hoje restrito ao acabamento Volcano, tem 174 cv\/23,5 m.kgf e 186 cv\/24,9 m.kgf, na ordem, e vem com caixa autom\u00e1tica de nove marchas. Para ambos os motores a tra\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 dianteira. O motor de 1,75 litro desenvolve bem seu papel, auxiliado pelo pedal do acelerador progressivo, mas exige rota\u00e7\u00e3o maior durante uma condu\u00e7\u00e3o mais apressada ou em retomadas de velocidade. O conjunto de suspens\u00e3o, como nas vers\u00f5es anteriores, garante conforto ao rodar e traz estabilidade muito acima do esperado para uma picape, passando confian\u00e7a em curvas de alta e mantendo-a firme. Em curvas de m\u00e9dia e baixa velocidade, por\u00e9m, faz a cabine balan\u00e7ar para os lados e inclinar-se. Qualidades conhecidas s\u00e3o a boa posi\u00e7\u00e3o de dirigir e o eficaz isolamento ac\u00fastico, sendo o sil\u00eancio interno interrompido apenas pelo ru\u00eddo do motor em rota\u00e7\u00e3o mais alta.
