Oferecia dois motores de tr\u00eas cilindros e 1,0 litro: o aspirado da vers\u00e3o MPI e o turboalimentado com <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-i\/#inje\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">inje\u00e7\u00e3o direta<\/a>, reservado \u00e0s vers\u00f5es Comfortline 200 TSI e Highline 200 TSI, esta a mais luxuosa. Acima da MPI havia a MSI de quatro cilindros e 1,6 litro. De in\u00edcio, apenas transmiss\u00e3o manual de cinco marchas equipava o Polo MPI e o MSI, enquanto as vers\u00f5es TSI vinham com caixa autom\u00e1tica de seis marchas.<\/p>\n<p>Em julho de 2018 o MSI ganhava sua op\u00e7\u00e3o autom\u00e1tica, tamb\u00e9m aplicada ao Polo Sense \u2014 vers\u00e3o para pessoas com defici\u00eancia, PCD. O esportivo GTS, com motor turbo de 1,4 litro, aparecia em janeiro de 2020 e ainda n\u00e3o consta de nossa an\u00e1lise. Os equipamentos de seguran\u00e7a eram um destaque do Polo. O segundo item mais apontado \u00e9 suspens\u00e3o\/estabilidade (36%), seguido por itens de conveni\u00eancia (33%), prazer em dirigir (30%) e consumo de combust\u00edvel (27%), sendo frequente a ressalva para uso em rodovia. Tamb\u00e9m aparecem v\u00e1rios elogios a <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-s\/#segu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">seguran\u00e7a passiva<\/a> (24%), posi\u00e7\u00e3o de dirigir (18%) e a transmiss\u00e3o autom\u00e1tica (15%).<\/p>\n<p>Nelson Marchesin Junior, de Americana, SP, dono de um Polo Comfortline TSI autom\u00e1tico 2019, comenta: &#8220;Agrada muito ao dirigir. O motor entrega for\u00e7a desde baixo giro e conversa muito bem com o c\u00e2mbio. A suspens\u00e3o tem um comportamento muito bom e traz sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de seguran\u00e7a mesmo em velocidades mais altas. Com todas as regulagens \u00e9 f\u00e1cil ficar bem acomodado&#8221;. Luiz Carlos Zonta, de Natal, RN, que tem um MSI 1,6 manual 2018, confirma: &#8220;Dirigibilidade excelente. Estabilidade muito boa. Depois aparecem o consumo em cidade (27%), frequente para vers\u00f5es TSI; a tampa traseira sem bot\u00e3o ou ma\u00e7aneta e que fecha com dificuldade (21%), dando trabalho para ser reaberta; e trancos da caixa autom\u00e1tica (18%). Outros pontos negativos ficaram abaixo de 10% de cita\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>O desempenho do motor \u00e9, de longe, o aspecto mais elogiado do Polo: 67% dos donos o citaram no <em>Teste do Leitor<\/em>, tanto para vers\u00f5es TSI quanto para MSI<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Paulo Gustavo Pereira Mendes, de Macei\u00f3, AL, dirige um Polo MSI 1,6 2018 e comenta: &#8220;Falta de acabamento nos trilhos dos bancos, pois as ferragens ficam todas aparecendo. N\u00e3o tem ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o no porta-malas, ru\u00eddo de vento a partir dos 100 km\/h, acabamento interno com muito pl\u00e1stico&#8221;. Sebasti\u00e3o Filho, de S\u00e3o Paulo, SP, tem um Polo Comfortline TSI autom\u00e1tico 2018 e acrescenta: &#8220;O c\u00e2mbio n\u00e3o \u00e9 suave. As trocas de marcha s\u00e3o muito percept\u00edveis. E o projeto est\u00fapido da tampa do porta-malas sem bot\u00e3o: precisa ser batida com vontade para travar&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>A tampa traseira, assim como a cobertura interna do compartimento de bagagem, volta a ser lembrada por muitos quando perguntamos os defeitos apresentados pelo Polo: nada menos que 58% apontaram ru\u00eddos em um desses componentes ou ambos. Os inc\u00f4modos sonoros tamb\u00e9m afetam painel e console (27%) e a suspens\u00e3o (9%). Outro incomodado \u00e9 Leandro Cassimiro Barros Gama, de Goi\u00e2nia, GO, com seu Polo MPI 1,0 2020: &#8220;Console parece solto, faz muito barulho desde novo.
