Aproveitando a idade avan\u00e7ada do oponente, a marca francesa conquistou a lideran\u00e7a do segmento, mas n\u00e3o demorou muito para ter resposta da norte-americana: a segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o do &#8220;Eco&#8221;, lan\u00e7ada em agosto passado e que j\u00e1 reconquistou o primeiro lugar em vendas na classe.<\/p>\n<p>Como nossa inten\u00e7\u00e3o inicial \u2014 comparar as vers\u00f5es de 1,6 litro com c\u00e2mbio manual, as mais vendidas em ambas as linhas \u2014 foi frustrada pela dificuldade da Ford em nos atender com um carro, mudamos o foco para os utilit\u00e1rios com caixa autom\u00e1tica, que no caso do EcoSport \u00e9 a nova Powershift automatizada de <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-e\/#embr\">dupla embreagem<\/a> e seis marchas. A <em>pot\u00eancia<\/em> dos motores flex\u00edveis de quatro v\u00e1lvulas por cilindro est\u00e1 bem pr\u00f3xima, com 140\/146 cv no Eco e 138\/142 cv no Duster. Diferen\u00e7a expressiva, mesmo, fica para o <em>pre\u00e7o<\/em>: o Titanium de 2,0 litros come\u00e7a em R$ 68,2 mil e chega a R$ 77,6 mil com os opcionais da unidade avaliada (o c\u00e2mbio Powershift incluso), um bom dinheiro a mais que os R$ 64,9 mil do Tech Road autom\u00e1tico, que oferece op\u00e7\u00e3o apenas por pintura met\u00e1lica. Contudo, a Ford oferece a alternativa mais acess\u00edvel da vers\u00e3o SE com a mesma mec\u00e2nica.<\/p>\n<p>Vale pagar a diferen\u00e7a? lanternas e<br \/>\nmolduras laterais mostram bom aspecto, mas o estepe aparente divide opini\u00f5es\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Concep\u00e7\u00e3o e estilo<\/h3>\n<p>A primeira gera\u00e7\u00e3o do EcoSport foi desenvolvida no Brasil a partir de um modelo europeu da Ford, o Fusion \u2014 sem rela\u00e7\u00e3o com o sed\u00e3 feito no M\u00e9xico \u2014, lan\u00e7ado em 2002 com base no Fiesta introduzido pouco antes. Era uma esp\u00e9cie de perua alta que aqui recebeu tratamento est\u00e9tico de utilit\u00e1rio esporte, com molduras de para-lamas e estepe preso a uma tampa traseira articulada na lateral, em vez de por cima \u2014 e obteve um resultado que fez sucesso de imediato. Na segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o, coube \u00e0 Ford brasileira desenhar toda a carroceria a partir da plataforma do novo Fiesta, sendo o novo Eco produzido tamb\u00e9m em outros pa\u00edses \u2014 como China, mais adiante, R\u00fassia \u2014 dentro da estrat\u00e9gia global da marca.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>O EcoSport ficou t\u00e3o ousado que o estepe &#8220;pendurado&#8221; \u2014 considerado essencial para manter a identidade visual \u2014 acaba com ar de adapta\u00e7\u00e3o<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A hist\u00f3ria do Duster \u00e9 bem outra. Embora tamb\u00e9m tenha surgido da plataforma de um hatchback compacto \u2014 o Sandero, do qual toma emprestadas at\u00e9 as portas dianteiras \u2014, ele foi desenhado na Europa e lan\u00e7ado em 2010 pela marca Dacia, da Rom\u00eania, que pertence \u00e0 Renault desde 1999. A vers\u00e3o nacional tem poucos itens pr\u00f3prios, como a grade dianteira e acabamentos internos.<\/p>\n<p>Lado a lado, eles n\u00e3o poderiam ser mais diferentes. O EcoSport transmite modernidade com seu estilo t\u00edpico da fase atual de desenho da Ford, da ampla grade dianteira \u00e0s lanternas traseiras bem elaboradas, passando pelo para-brisa bem inclinado e as janelas de perfil baixo. Ficou t\u00e3o ousado que o estepe &#8220;pendurado&#8221; \u2014 considerado essencial pelo fabricante para manter sua identidade visual \u2014 acaba destoando, com ar de adapta\u00e7\u00e3o. O curioso \u00e9 que no modelo antigo, ao qual fora acrescentado, ele parecia ter sido pensado desde o in\u00edcio. Multiplicado \u00e0 \u00e1rea frontal estimada, que \u00e9 maior no Duster, obt\u00eam-se os \u00edndices nada interessantes de 1,003 para o primeiro e 1,137 para o segundo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Conforto e conveni\u00eancia<\/h3>\n<p>Por dentro, como por fora, o EcoSport transmite um ar bem mais moderno com o painel de formas elaboradas, sobretudo na se\u00e7\u00e3o central e no quadro de instrumentos, em oposi\u00e7\u00e3o ao desenho s\u00f3brio do Duster. Os materiais pl\u00e1sticos usados em ambos s\u00e3o r\u00edgidos e de aspecto simples, embora com texturas de melhor apar\u00eancia no Ford. O Titanium avaliado trazia revestimento em couro nos bancos, o que a s\u00e9rie Tech Road do concorrente n\u00e3o oferece; em seu lugar vem um tecido simples e adequado ao tipo de carro. Este ainda fica um pouco deslocado \u00e0 direita no Renault, e a ambos faltam maior apoio para as coxas e um descanso adequado para o p\u00e9 esquerdo. As duas marcas usam reclina\u00e7\u00e3o do encosto por alavanca, em pontos definidos, que n\u00e3o julgamos a melhor op\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Os instrumentos equivalem-se em informa\u00e7\u00f5es, salvo pelo term\u00f4metro do l\u00edquido de arrefecimento, ausente no EcoSport (mas bem substitu\u00eddo por luzes de motor frio e superaquecimento). Os computadores de bordo s\u00e3o b\u00e1sicos, sem a segunda medi\u00e7\u00e3o oferecida por outros modelos, e falta informa\u00e7\u00e3o de consumo instant\u00e2neo; no Ford vem um gr\u00e1fico para esse fim, o que n\u00e3o \u00e9 ideal. Os sistemas de \u00e1udio, de qualidade de som equivalente \u2014 apenas razo\u00e1vel \u2014, trazem fun\u00e7\u00e3o MP3, conex\u00f5es USB e auxiliar, interface <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-b\/#blue\">Bluetooth<\/a> para telefone celular e comandos no volante (junto dele, do tipo sat\u00e9lite, no Duster). A moldura de seu r\u00e1dio em tom prata brilhante causa inc\u00f4modos reflexos do sol em certos hor\u00e1rios do dia (quando os fabricantes v\u00e3o aprender que n\u00e3o se colocam superf\u00edcies reluzentes em um local t\u00e3o exposto \u00e0 luz solar?) e a quinta porta n\u00e3o se destrava com a chave guardada, sendo preciso abrir outra delas antes.<\/p>\n<p>No Renault o comando de ajuste el\u00e9trico dos retrovisores fica abaixo da alavanca de freio de estacionamento, dif\u00edcil de usar com ela abaixada, e houve improviso no mostrador de marcha no painel, espremido entre outras indica\u00e7\u00f5es. No limite de giros as duas caixas fazem a troca para cima, mesmo em modo manual.<\/p>\n<p>Os dois carros usam os mesmos esquemas de suspens\u00e3o, com resultados semelhantes. Bem calibrados, produzem um rodar firme, controlado, que permite boa estabilidade apesar da grande altura do solo desses modelos (v\u00e3o livre de 21 cm no Renault e 20 cm no Ford); a presen\u00e7a de <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-c\/#esp\">controle eletr\u00f4nico<\/a> no Ford \u00e9 uma vantagem importante. Os pneus escolhidos \u2014 Pirelli Scorpion ATR no EcoSport, Bridgestone Dueler H\/T no Duster \u2014 preveem certa aptid\u00e3o para uso em terra, mas modelos mais voltados ao uso em asfalto nos pareceriam mais apropriados a essas vers\u00f5es. Vantagem do Ford \u00e9 o conforto de marcha, sobretudo pela absor\u00e7\u00e3o de impactos, que deveria ser aprimorada no Renault. O item seguinte, pot\u00eancia consumida a 120 km\/h, reflete a maior efici\u00eancia do modelo de Cama\u00e7ari, BA, tanto em aerodin\u00e2mica quanto em outras perdas, caso da dire\u00e7\u00e3o com assist\u00eancia el\u00e9trica.<\/p>\n<p>Ao contr\u00e1rio do que os dados dos fabricantes (<em>veja na tabela inferior<\/em>) faziam esperar, o Ford foi mais r\u00e1pido nas provas de acelera\u00e7\u00e3o e retomada, como ao fazer de 0 a 100 km\/h em 10,4 segundos, com \u00e1lcool, contra 11,4 s do Renault. Aqui, contribuem fatores como pot\u00eancia, aerodin\u00e2mica, efici\u00eancia e maior n\u00famero de marchas do c\u00e2mbio, que compensam a discreta vantagem do utilit\u00e1rio de S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Pinhais, PR, em peso.
