O espa\u00e7o para visita\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica, inaugurado em 2000 e que recebe dois milh\u00f5es de visitantes por ano, abrange atra\u00e7\u00f5es as mais variadas. Existem \u00e1reas dedicadas a cada marca do grupo alem\u00e3o, como a mais recente \u2014 a da Porsche \u2014, com maquetes que reproduzem todos os modelos de rua e de competi\u00e7\u00e3o do m\u00edtico fabricante. H\u00e1 o setor de projetos de autom\u00f3veis, que mostra um Golf em modelo de estilo com parte em argila <em>(clay),<\/em> e uma maquete sendo esculpida para tomar as formas do carro.<\/p>\n<p>No setor verde obt\u00eam-se informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre impacto ambiental e usa-se um interessante simulador que, conforme as respostas dadas a uma s\u00e9rie de quest\u00f5es, indica o tamanho da &#8220;pegada&#8221; de carbono e quantas Terras seriam necess\u00e1rias se toda a popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial tivesse o perfil do participante. O espa\u00e7o n\u00e3o est\u00e1 restrito, como outras se\u00e7\u00f5es da Autostadt, a produtos do grupo Volkswagen ou mesmo \u00e0 Alemanha: re\u00fane modelos que marcaram \u00e9poca de diferentes proced\u00eancias, sobretudo europeus, todos expostos em condi\u00e7\u00f5es impec\u00e1veis. No caso da ala Motor Icons, ou \u00edcones dos motores, est\u00e3o \u00e0 mostra 12 modelos ao lado de seus motores, unidades de um a 18 cilindros ou mesmo sem cilindro algum, como os rotativos Wankel.<\/p>\n<p>O <strong>Best Cars<\/strong> esteve na Autostadt a convite da VW, por ocasi\u00e3o do lan\u00e7amento do <a title=\"VW Golf 7 chega com todo o sabor de Primeiro Mundo\" href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/informe-se\/avaliacao\/volkswagen-avaliacao\/teste-vw-golf-7-chega-com-todo-o-sabor-de-primeiro-mundo\/\">novo Golf<\/a>, e traz aqui os autom\u00f3veis mais marcantes da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o. Embora eles sejam organizados em \u00e1reas tem\u00e1ticas \u2014 uma em fun\u00e7\u00e3o de seu desenho, outra pelos motores e assim por diante \u2014, preferimos exibi-los aqui em ordem cronol\u00f3gica, o que traz uma interessante vis\u00e3o de como essa m\u00e1quina se desenvolveu desde o s\u00e9culo XIX. A vers\u00e3o Comfortable inclu\u00eda requintes como far\u00f3is e capota convers\u00edvel, mantendo o motor de um cilindro horizontal, 1,05 litro e pot\u00eancia de apenas 2,75 cv a 600 rpm, suficiente para atingir 20 km\/h. Dois ter\u00e7os da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de 1.200 unidades foram exportados.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Primeiro autom\u00f3vel de 16 cilindros, o\u00a0Cadillac V16\u00a0usava uma enorme unidade de 7,4 litros e 165 cv e estava dispon\u00edvel com 34 modelos de carroceria<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Pouco mais recente, o Bugatti Type 15 de 1912 era um carro sofisticado para a \u00e9poca. Derivado do Type 10 de 1908, tinha motor de quatro cilindros e 1,4 litro com 30 cv e atingia m\u00e1xima de 90 km\/h. Bentley<\/a>. Apresentado em 1919, teve a produ\u00e7\u00e3o iniciada ap\u00f3s dois anos com motor de quatro cilindros, 3,0 litros (por isso o nome) e 70 cv. A vers\u00e3o Speed chegava em 1924 \u2014 ano do carro exposto \u2014 com mais 10 cv e freios nas quatro rodas. O modelo venceria a 24 Horas de Le Mans naquele ano e em 1927.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Carroceria <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-m\/#mono\">monobloco<\/a> e suspens\u00e3o dianteira independente estavam entre as inova\u00e7\u00f5es do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autolivraria.com.br\/ph2\/169b.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Lancia Lambda<\/a> de 1922. A constru\u00e7\u00e3o permitia uma cabine mais baixa, com benef\u00edcio \u00e0 estabilidade. Foram feitas tr\u00eas unidades, sendo uma aberta.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>As motos<\/h3>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Duas cl\u00e1ssicas europeias, a inglesa Arial Square Four 1932 e a alem\u00e3 Van Veen OCR 1000 1978. A Ariel, lan\u00e7ada em 1930, tinha motor de quatro cilindros e 600 cm\u00b3 de alum\u00ednio com 24 cv, que daria lugar a um de 1.000 cm\u00b3 em 1949. Bem mais recente, a Van Veen apareceu em 1976 como a terceira (depois de Hercules e Suzuki) moto a adotar o motor rotativo Wankel, no caso produzido por uma parceria NSU-Citro\u00ebn. Com dois rotores que somavam 500 cm\u00b3, desenvolvia 100 cv. O modelo exposto, de 1968, tem quatro cilindros, 1,1 litro, dois carburadores e 55 cv, mas a M\u00fcnch ofereceu vers\u00f5es com inje\u00e7\u00e3o \u2014 primazia mundial em motos em 1973 \u2014 e 100 cv.
