Come\u00e7ou mal com o fraco e barulhento motor arrefecido a ar de 1,3 litro, evoluiu em termos mec\u00e2nicos e caiu no gosto dos brasileiros a ponto de assumir, em 1987, uma lideran\u00e7a de vendas que duraria at\u00e9 2013. Foi prestigiado pela marca nos anos 90 com vers\u00f5es como o esportivo GTI (primeiro carro nacional com inje\u00e7\u00e3o eletr\u00f4nica) e o GTI 16V. Decaiu na d\u00e9cada de 2000 com a empobrecida s\u00e9rie G4, mas se recuperou com a terceira gera\u00e7\u00e3o em 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Hoje o Gol est\u00e1 novamente em baixa. Depois que a segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o saiu de linha, as vendas n\u00e3o mais sustentaram o antigo patamar e o ex-l\u00edder obteve um modesto\u00a0sexto lugar no ano passado. Nem mesmo o formato dos far\u00f3is mudou: s\u00f3 os elementos internos, agora com refletor \u00fanico em todas as vers\u00f5es, um retrocesso em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-d\/#dupl\" target=\"_blank\">duplos<\/a> oferecidos antes. No para-choque dianteiro foram ampliadas as tomadas de ar e os far\u00f3is de neblina voltaram ao formato circular. Na traseira do Gol a tampa do porta-malas foi refeita, com vincos mais acentuados, e tanto as lanternas quanto o vidro adotaram cantos vivos em vez de arredondados. O para-choque traz alojamento maior para a placa de licen\u00e7a. Nada foi feito, por\u00e9m, na pouco inspirada parte posterior do Voyage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Nos dois sistemas superiores, pode-se mostrar e operar a tela do celular na do carro pelo sistema Mirror Link<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O Gol de tr\u00eas portas ainda n\u00e3o acompanha as mudan\u00e7as \u2014 a VW deixa em aberto se isso ser\u00e1 feito mais tarde ou se a op\u00e7\u00e3o sair\u00e1 de produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Por enquanto tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o de fora as vers\u00f5es <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/tag\/gol-track\" target=\"_blank\">Track<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/tag\/gol-rallye\" target=\"_blank\">Rallye<\/a>, de suspens\u00e3o mais elevada, sem que o fabricante informe se ser\u00e3o relan\u00e7adas. Isso significa que, ao menos por ora, desaparece do Gol a op\u00e7\u00e3o de motor EA-211 de 1,6 litro e quatro v\u00e1lvulas por cilindro, agora reservado a modelos como <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/tag\/fox\" target=\"_blank\">Fox<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/tag\/spacefox\" target=\"_blank\">Spacefox<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/tag\/saveiro-cross\" target=\"_blank\">Saveiro Cross<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/tag\/golf\" target=\"_blank\">Golf<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>O painel redesenhado \u00e9 a grande novidade por dentro de ambos os modelos. Como fora, sa\u00edram as formas curvas e circulares e entraram as retil\u00edneas, em especial nos difusores de ar. O volante tornou-se semelhante ao do Golf e o quadro de instrumentos foi refeito, agora com um mostrador central digital que inclui\u00a0marcadores de combust\u00edvel e temperatura (exceto no Highline), assim como informa\u00e7\u00f5es de \u00e1udio e computador de bordo. O Media (opcional nas vers\u00f5es Trendline) \u00e9 o mais simples, sem toca-CDs, apenas com conex\u00f5es USB, auxiliar, para cart\u00e3o SD e interface <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-b\/#blue\" target=\"_blank\">Bluetooth<\/a> para celular. O Media Plus, de s\u00e9rie no Gol e no Voyage Comfortline, acrescenta toca-CDs e visualiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos gr\u00e1ficos dos <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-s\/#esta\" target=\"_blank\">sensores de estacionamento<\/a>. No Composition Touch, de s\u00e9rie no\u00a0Highline, pode-se mostrar e operar a tela do celular na tela colorida de 5 polegadas do carro pelo sistema Mirror Link.<\/p>\n<p>Enfim, o Discover Media (opcional no Highline) traz tela de 6,3 pol com sensor de aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o (ela mostra menus antes mesmo de ser tocada), navegador com atualiza\u00e7\u00f5es gratuitas e Bluetooth para dois aparelhos em simult\u00e2neo. O aparelho pode ler mensagens de texto (SMS), responder a SMS por meio de comando de voz e executar v\u00eddeos. A unidade compartilhada com o <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/tag\/up\" target=\"_blank\">Up<\/a> traz recursos t\u00e9cnicos atuais como bloco de alum\u00ednio, <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-v\/#vari\" target=\"_blank\">varia\u00e7\u00e3o do tempo de abertura das v\u00e1lvulas<\/a>, duplo circuito de arrefecimento e <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-p\/#prea\" target=\"_blank\">preaquecimento de \u00e1lcool<\/a> para partida a frio.<\/p>\n<p>Em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao antigo quatro-cilindros de duas v\u00e1lvulas, houve ganhos expressivos em pot\u00eancia, que subiu de 72\/76 cv para 75\/82 cv na ordem gasolina\/\u00e1lcool. O mostrador central tamb\u00e9m exibe a velocidade, o que \u00e9 conveniente para observa\u00e7\u00e3o mais precisa em tempos de radares por todo lado.
