Oferecida apenas na vers\u00e3o Titanium com transmiss\u00e3o automatizada de <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-e\/#embr\" target=\"_blank\">dupla embreagem<\/a>, a unidade de 1,0 litro e tr\u00eas cilindros passa a representar sua op\u00e7\u00e3o de topo, acima do 1,6 de <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-a\/#aspi\" target=\"_blank\">aspira\u00e7\u00e3o natural<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A iniciativa da marca do oval chega logo em seguida \u00e0 da Hyundai, que lan\u00e7ou para o <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/informe-se\/avaliacao\/teste-hyundai-hb20-turbo-e-meio-termo-que-vale-por-inteiro\/\" target=\"_blank\">HB20<\/a>\u00a0em abril um motor de configura\u00e7\u00e3o similar, mas sem inje\u00e7\u00e3o direta. Embora fosse tentador compar\u00e1-los, n\u00e3o seria coerente: ao contr\u00e1rio do Fiesta, o 1,0-litro turbo dos sul-coreanos \u00e9 op\u00e7\u00e3o intermedi\u00e1ria em pot\u00eancia e pre\u00e7o entre as aspiradas de 1,0 e 1,6 litro, a ponto de n\u00e3o estar dispon\u00edvel na vers\u00e3o de topo Premium ou com transmiss\u00e3o autom\u00e1tica. ambos j\u00e1\u00a0tiveram a frente reestilizada<\/em><\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Concep\u00e7\u00e3o e estilo<\/h2>\n<p>Fiesta \u00e9 um nome longevo na Ford, que come\u00e7ou a produzi-lo h\u00e1 <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/informe-se\/noticias\/ford-fiesta-faz-40-anos-veja-historico-das-geracoes\/\" target=\"_blank\">40 anos<\/a> e aplicou-lhe grandes transforma\u00e7\u00f5es at\u00e9 chegar \u00e0 atual sexta gera\u00e7\u00e3o em 2007. No Brasil ele estreou em 1995 mediante importa\u00e7\u00e3o da terceira gera\u00e7\u00e3o, tornou-se nacional no ano seguinte (j\u00e1 na quarta) e passou em 2011 ao \u00faltimo modelo do hatch, que em dois anos ganhava fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o em S\u00e3o Bernardo do Campo, SP. Recente, o HB20 surgiu em 2012 de desenvolvimento focado no mercado brasileiro e foi reestilizado no ano passado.<\/p>\n<p>Os dois modelos est\u00e3o entre os mais atraentes do segmento, embora com escolas diversas de estilo. O Hyundai abusa de vincos e arestas, tend\u00eancia da marca em per\u00edodos passados que foi atenuada na reestiliza\u00e7\u00e3o. O Ford \u00e9 mais suave, mas tamb\u00e9m comete seus excessos, como na frente um tanto \u201cbicuda\u201d adotada em 2013 para alojar nova grade. Digno de nota \u00e9 como ele n\u00e3o parece envelhecido, nove anos ap\u00f3s a apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o europeia \u2014 sinal de bom resultado do desenho. Os dois seguem princ\u00edpios atuais como a linha de cintura bastante ascendente rumo \u00e0 traseira.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00e1 empate t\u00e9cnico no <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-c\/#cx\" target=\"_blank\">coeficiente aerodin\u00e2mico (Cx)<\/a>, divulgado, 0,33 no Hyundai e 0,332 no Ford, valores adequados para o porte dos carros. Nada disso afeta o concorrente.<\/p>\n<p>As transmiss\u00f5es seguem princ\u00edpios diferentes: autom\u00e1tica epic\u00edclica no HB20, automatizada de dupla embreagem no Fiesta, ambas com seis marchas. Com o acelerador r\u00e1pido descrito acima, ao pisar um pouco mais para manter 120 km\/h em aclive (como em nossa medi\u00e7\u00e3o de consumo rodovi\u00e1rio) o motorista provoca uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o indesejada, que o leva a aliviar o p\u00e9 para voltar \u00e0 sexta. Ent\u00e3o vem novo ciclo quinta-sexta, e outro, e outro, por tanto tempo quanto durar a subida \u2014 no Ford a sexta d\u00e1 conta do recado por longo tempo. Este, por\u00e9m, fica atr\u00e1s em suavidade de mudan\u00e7as e apresenta respostas mais lentas a pedidos de redu\u00e7\u00e3o, sobretudo quando envolvem mais de uma marcha: afinal, nessa ocasi\u00e3o \u00e9 uma caixa automatizada comum, sem a vantagem da embreagem dupla.<\/p>\n<p>Os dois disp\u00f5em de sele\u00e7\u00e3o manual de marchas. No HB20 \u00e9 por um canal \u00e0 parte na alavanca, subindo para frente; no Fiesta usa-se bot\u00e3o na alavanca, solu\u00e7\u00e3o criticada por muitos, embora v\u00e1lida para uso eventual. Um benef\u00edcio\u00a0desse arranjo \u00e9 que o bot\u00e3o est\u00e1 sempre ativo, sem se precisar deslocar a alavanca para modo manual e depois voltar a autom\u00e1tico: pode-se, por exemplo, us\u00e1-lo s\u00f3 uma vez antes de uma ultrapassagem. Apenas\u00a0ele oferece programa esportivo (posi\u00e7\u00e3o S), que mant\u00e9m o motor em regimes mais altos.<\/p>\n<p>Em modo manual as duas caixas passam \u00e0 pr\u00f3xima marcha quando se atinge a rota\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e1xima determinada. J\u00e1 para redu\u00e7\u00f5es as estrat\u00e9gias s\u00e3o opostas. O Hyundai nunca reduz, mesmo que se aperte o acelerador at\u00e9 o fim \u2014 decis\u00e3o question\u00e1vel, pois pode surpreender o motorista em emerg\u00eancias quando se precisar de pot\u00eancia. Os dois trazem far\u00f3is de neblina, sem a luz traseira de mesma finalidade, e repetidores laterais das luzes de dire\u00e7\u00e3o. S\u00f3 o Hyundai\u00a0tem luzes diurnas com <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-l\/#led\" target=\"_blank\">leds<\/a>, que dispensam o uso de far\u00f3is baixos em rodovias.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9 boa a visibilidade em qualquer um deles, com colunas dianteiras de espessura razo\u00e1vel, algumas restri\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0 traseira (colunas largas, vidro de perfil baixo) e retrovisores <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-c\/#conv\" target=\"_blank\">convexos<\/a> em ambos os lados. Primeira:\u00a0o motor turbo mant\u00e9m sua pot\u00eancia declarada na regi\u00e3o da pista, 600 metros acima do n\u00edvel do mar, enquanto o aspirado perde com a altitude (o <strong>Best Cars<\/strong> n\u00e3o corrige os resultados para esse par\u00e2metro, ao contr\u00e1rio dos fabricantes). Assim, na pr\u00e1tica a diferen\u00e7a entre eles era maior que os 3 cv previstos com\u00a0gasolina.<\/p>\n<p>Segunda: se o Ecoboost\u00a0mant\u00e9m torque m\u00e1ximo constante desde 1.400 rpm, o Hyundai precisa de 4.500 rpm para obter seu pico de torque. Isso representa pot\u00eancia mais alta no Fiesta em toda a faixa\u00a0m\u00e9dia, na qual os motores permanecem durante boa parte das medi\u00e7\u00f5es. Terceira: sabe-se que os modelos turbo muitas vezes\u00a0operam com <a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/mais\/cons-tecnico\/turbo-a-sobrepressao-temporaria-e-a-potencia-efetiva\/\" target=\"_blank\">aumento tempor\u00e1rio da press\u00e3o de superalimenta\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a> (<em>overboost<\/em>), que pode fazer grande diferen\u00e7a em pot\u00eancia e torque durante as provas de desempenho, embora a Ford seja omissa a respeito.<\/p>\n<p>Quarta:\u00a0as trocas de marcha autom\u00e1ticas em modo manual do Fiesta, entre 6.300 e 6.500 rpm, aproveitam melhor a pot\u00eancia que as do HB20\u00a0(6.000 a 6.200 rpm), que ficam pouco acima do pico de pot\u00eancia (a 6.000 em ambos). Ap\u00f3s cada mudan\u00e7a, seu motor demora bem mais a retomar o f\u00f4lego.<\/p>\n<p>Arrancar forte sem perda de tra\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 f\u00e1cil nos dois modelos, seja acelerando com freio pressionado (<a href=\"https:\/\/autolivraria.com.br\/bc\/glossario-e\/#esto\" target=\"_blank\">estol<\/a>), em que o Fiesta permite 2.800 rpm e o HB20 apenas 2.250, seja liberando o freio e ent\u00e3o acelerando a pleno. Notamos ligeira melhora no Hyundai com o uso de estol, enquanto o advers\u00e1rio parece indiferente ao m\u00e9todo escolhido.<\/p>\n<p>Que tal andar mais e ainda gastar bem menos combust\u00edvel? Pois foi o que o Ecoboost conseguiu, como ao obter excelentes 15,6 km\/l no trajeto urbano leve (29% a mais que o HB20, tamb\u00e9m com gasolina) e 14 km\/l no rodovi\u00e1rio (23% melhor), marcas que comprovam a excel\u00eancia do novo motor. Pequena parte da diferen\u00e7a pode ser atribu\u00edda \u00e0 transmiss\u00e3o automatizada, mais eficiente do ponto de vista energ\u00e9tico que a autom\u00e1tica do concorrente. O regime em sexta marcha, por\u00e9m, \u00e9 pouco menor no HB20 (<em>veja na ficha t\u00e9cnica abaixo<\/em>).
